Rajasthan Technical University (RTU) is located in Kota in the state of Rajasthan. Government of Rajasthan established RTU to enhance the technical education in the state in 2006. This university is situated in University College of Engineering, Kota. RTU provide M Tech, B. Tech/B.Arch, MBA, MCA, BHMCT degree courses.
RTU affiliate 135 Engineering Colleges, 35 MCA Colleges, 142 MBA Colleges, 8 M.Tech Colleges and 3 Hotel Management and Catering Institute. Currently more than 1 lakh students are studying in RTU affiliated colleges.
